Can we have Smack Jeeves listed on the Update Method of the Suggest Comic page? I reg_exp we can use is <h1 class="comic-date-header">*</h1>

Ooops. That reg_exp won't work for all.

The more commonly appropriate one for Smack Jeeves would be
ploaded\\/comics\\/*\\.

Never know when they might change the capitalization of uploaded.

The * is not a wildcard character. Also, slashes don't need to be escaped.

I love escaping slashes. You could get cut up if you don't.

And you're supposed to replace * with whatever you think works well in a given situation, since there's more then one way to do it.

Spiderforest.com and Spiderspawn.com are closely interlinked, and the one regex works for both. I tried and used it when going through them when activating those on the suggested page.
comics/(.*?)"

While you're at it, an update method for <div id="comic">*</div> would be very useful. That's the most common and surefire regex for comicpress sites and others using the same system.

For Comicdish there is <OPTION VALUE="Latest">(.*?)</OPTION>

I think I found the Smack Jeeves answer. If I'm right, all Smack Jeeves accounts have a RSS feed, even if they do not list them. Much easier trying for them them seeking out reg_ex

Yes, that's correct, and the RSS address is the *only* way we can check adult SmackJeeves comics, since they need user input for age confirmation before allowing a page load, even for a pure text download. However, if you don't want to use that, or don't want to waste time hunting down the RSS URL, or it doesn't work for some reason, all SmackJeeves comics use this line for calling the comic image: src="http://<XXX>.smackjeeves.com/images/uploaded/comics/

the <XXX> can be either img1 or www, AND IT CAN AND WILL CHANGE BACK AND FORTH RANDOMLY. Therefore, if you use that to catch SmackJeeves updates, your regex should look like this:

smackjeeves\\.com/images/uploaded/comics/(.*?)"

The RSS is actually standard. homepage_address/rss/

I tried it, however, since some RSS feeds are always updating, it can't always be used. May also get updating and reader comments, creating false positives.

That reg_ex you mentioned would be great if added to the updating mehtod list. Saves a LOT of bother.

I have been getting the suggested comic list down to all except the Smack Jeeves comics and those I have trouble finding a reg_ex for. Just a handful more comics and I will of done that.

Comic.com has /str_strip/(.*?)"
