Downtime

Sorry for the recent downtime. I'm not sure what caused this latest problem. I'm looking into a solution and thinking about my current hosting situation.
EDIT 2/28/08: More downtime last night. This is starting to get annoying. Anyone want to host Comic Nation? |

Can you set one up, given access to a MacOS X server? I don't know what the bandwidth requirements of this site are, but I have a 15 MB down / 5 MB up FIOS connection. |

I could - but we'd be in the same situation as now, no? That is, I have a site setup now on a personal computer. I was thinking more along the lines of a real host.
Let's see what happens in the next few days. It's been really good since September - let' see if this is temporary. |

I think so. There have been two recent downtime incidents. One related to snow (I think?) another scheduled maintenance. It appears that my server sucks at recovering from those. |

Yeah, it seems to me that the downtimes are getting longer and more frequent. I think this last one started Thursday evening and didn't end until this morning. |

I think it's my server's problem. What happens, I think, is that for some reason the network goes down momentarily, and then my computer becomes totally unresponsive. |
